Presenting Our Group Stalking project!!!!!!!!!!
I just want to say that PC is way better than macs. No I did not capitalize mac because it sucksssssss. On Thursday my group (Chandler, Brandon, Sarah, and I) presented to the thousands or classmates (16 or so) and I thought it was a good presentation to inform the class on how they probably act when they eat. The Atrium was a great place to pick for this project because it is a popular spot not only from classes in the area but for the food too. Personally I do not eat at the Atrium because it is not appealing to me but to a lot of others it is. Now my opinion about the group aspect! The only thing I did not like about working in the groups is you can not procrastinate. Now is that a bad thing or not? To me its a bad thing because I work best at the last minute and when a group members schedule does not meet yours than it is kind of complicated. Overall the work load is not that much and it teaches you an important lesson, get it out the way so you do not have to worry about it later. -- Q GURU OUT
AHHH YESS NOW THE STALKINGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!
As this class knows, for our group assignment we went to the atrium and observed people in their natural habitats, or as I say stalking them. Now I can't even lie because Ms. Evans is a genius. I would have never been aware of what people do when choosing who to eat with or where to sit if it was not for this group project. I liked this project because it actually makes you pay attention to what others around you are doing. See in the past I only looked at girls that were in my area because, lets be honest, thats what guys do. We check out girls to see if we can have a potential girlfriend or one night stand. Probably should have not said that but its the truth and thats what I speak. I personally look for a girlfriend cause I am single ( ladies ) but anyways it was a great project to test out an hypothesis on.
Doing the Annotated Bibliography
Man that bibliography took a lot of work to complete and my dumb self almost did not turn it in because I forgot that it was due on Thursday before spring break, but due to a lucky reminder (wink wink)I turned it in on that Friday before we left for break. I thought it was a great that we needed so many sources from online, library, and the other sources we needed. I spent a lot of time at the library but it was really fun finding the 7 or so books they had at the library which I called the (BERRY). Famous saying is I went to the BERRY TO STUDY MY FRUITS. Ya I know its crazy but what do you expect with Q. Anyways I hope this bibliography is the really good one that I did.

HOW MANY PEOPLE LIKE THE GROUP CREEPING?
Okay this group creeping that we are doing is real funny. The other day my group was at the Atrium creeping on people in their eating environments. I have noticed that many people how eat by there-selves act like they are in a depression state. Their head is down and they are slouching in their chairs and they just look uncomfortable. About 10 minutes later when their friends come join them their whole "swagger" changes. For those who do not know what swagger means............. I'm sorry. They way their swagger changed because now they would put their head up high and sit up in their chair looking like they belong their. They just looked a lot more approachable when they were joined by someone. Bottom line group creeping can be kind of fun and creepy at the same time.

HOW MANY PEOPLE KNOW WHAT THERE DOING?
I just want to know how many people really know what there doing in class. I am willing to say that 95% of our class does not know what there doing. There is the 5% that do what they are supposed to do and they do not help any of us. NOW I shouldn't say this BUT majority of our class is lost and just doing there own thing. I was taught back in the day to STICK together. SO class i think we need to stick together! The other we did annotated bibliography and it is supposed to be over our topic proposal and we have to have all these sources. WEll i willing to bet that most people wrote there proposal as a paper. HMMMMMMMMMMMM well I am a lost soul in this calss but I will get by with all these papers. My words of wisdom is STICK together!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOW REALLY?
Well class you know we got snapped on because we do not write enough on our blogs. Well i right plenty but the rest of you do not have that much intrest in this. Well look at it like this, it is like facebook. You put your status up on here about the class. I know each and everyone of you have an opinion about this class, trust me, I have my own too. It is not that hard to write a paragraph about how class went though. Like on Tuesday we did those MLA citings which take up about 6,000 hours of our life, but thats college and we have to do it. Now our next meeting is going to be in the library and Ms. Evans asked to come with our questions. My guarntee is that like TWO of you will ask questions! That's okay though becuase if we need help wellllllll Ms. E said do not ask her ask the librians. So we have to be on that.-- Q GURU OUT!
Meeting with Ms. Evans
Well as all of you know we had confernces last week. Well I did mines on a monday so I had nothing done. Surprising, probably not because thats how our whole class is almost. Us teenagers tend to do things at the last minute. I blame Senioritis!!! My meeting with Ms.Evans went better than i thought. If you do not know my topic its about military life and I am a military brat. So this is what Ms.E and I talked about. Military brats are a hell of a lot different than regular civilian children, trust me. She really liked my topic and I hope I did really good on that paper because it took me 8 no 7 no lik 3 hours nooo wait like........ well lets just say I spent a good amount of time on this paper. - Q guru OUT!

Group peer review
Our group in english is Chandler Gable, Brandon loshe, Sara Wenger, and myself. Chandler's topic is about Cystic Fibrosis and how you can find cures and treatments for this. Brandon Loshe is talking about how he can make a living off of being a telecommunications major and a psychology minor. Sara Wenger topic is about how children are affected living with there grandparents and not their parents. My topic is Growing up in a Military family and I talk about how that effected my childhood.
Growing up in a Military family
My life has not been that easy but its been adventourus with traveling all over the U.S.A. Their are pros and cons to being in a military family. I would say one big pro is that you get to be a military brat. This means that I get benefits until I am 26. One big con is that when growing up you do not have that childhood memory because your always moving from place to place. This is what I delt with growing up and I think it will be real interesting to talk about.

Is college really important? Or is it a waste of your time?
Half way through Freshman year I have realized that I have only taken one class that deals with my major. That was an intro class. Having to take all the classes that have nothing to do with my major upsets me. Why? I am paying all this money in order to stay in college and get a great education, and I'm wasting it on dumb classes like history which I don't even have to goto that class just to pass it. I am really evaluating why I am in college spending money and time on classes that are pointless to me.
